Gnosall Lock-Up

  • A village lock-up of 1830-32, designed and built by James Trubshaw, built to incarcerate workers involved in a widespread uprising during the Swing Riots in the 1830s. This Grade II listed building was moved from its original location to Sellman Street in the 1970s after being hit by a lorry.
