Gnosall Royal British Legion is looking for new members

The local Royal British Legion branch is calling on Gnosall and district residents to get involved — no military background needed.

Gnosall and District Royal British Legion is one of the largest village branches in England, covering a wide area of West Staffordshire that includes Haughton, Church Eaton, Derrington, Bradley, Ranton, Norbury, Moreton, Great Bridgeford, Seighford and surrounding hamlets.

After a successful year of fundraising events, the branch is now looking to grow its team, starting with this year's Poppy Appeal and beyond.

You don't need a military or service background to get involved. Members meet monthly at Gnosall Families Sports and Social Club, and the branch prides itself on a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

As a member, you'll also be able to access the wider benefits offered by the Royal British Legion, while helping to support veterans and their families across the local area.

The branch's returning Chairman has set a clear target: to double membership over the next three years, with the aim of handing a thriving branch to whoever takes over next.

Whether you can commit long-term or just for a year or two, the branch would love to hear from you. You're also welcome to come along to the Remembrance Parade to see what the branch is all about.
