If your Gnosall group, charity or community organisation has members with experiences of health or social care services in Staffordshire, you could be eligible for a £500 grant through the Healthwatch Staffordshire Engagement Fund 2026.
What's it about?
Groups are being asked to help gather feedback on two key topics this year:
- Carers, care of older people and end of life planning - looking at carers' experiences of supporting older people, including end-of-life care and tools such as ReSPECT forms and Advance Care Planning.
- Diabetes and footcare - gathering patients' experiences of diabetic footcare services, in partnership with the East Staffordshire and Surrounds Diabetes UK Patient Network.
Groups can also take part if they have general feedback on local health and social care services, even if neither topic is a direct fit.
How to apply
Email enquiries@healthwatchstaffordshire.co.uk to register your interest. You will then be invited to join the project via the Basecamp platform, where a simple online form is used to apply for the funding. Healthwatch will provide paper or online forms for collecting feedback from your members.
Bear in mind that applications may take a little time to process, so do not worry if you do not hear back straight away.
