St Lawrence Church in Gnosall has launched a new website at stlawrencegnosall.uk. Visitors can now find service times, upcoming events and parish news, and plan baptisms, weddings and funerals, all in one place.
Generously created free of charge by Gnosall-based web developer Ollie Bundy at KaiForge Digital, the website contains practical information for anyone visiting for the first time.
The Grade I listed church has stood at the heart of the village since the twelfth century. The new site traces its history from the Norman crossing arches beneath the central tower to the painted glass added to the east window in 1922, with help from members of the congregation. It also follows the church's current work. Funds are being raised to refurbish the South Porch, the main entrance to the church, and a Victorian Minton tile floor was recently discovered beneath the chancel carpet. The new Pilgrim Project will gather and share the stories of St Lawrence. Supporters can give online to support!
The website also covers the wider benefice, which St Lawrence shares with churches in Moreton, Adbaston, Norbury, Knightley and High Offley, and community groups such as Messy Church and Churches Together.
Ollie is also responsible for creating new websites for local businesses, including Nick Bundy Electrical, J2 Patios & Driveways, and Gnosall St. Lawrence PSFA.
