The Mayor of Stafford, Councillor Mark Winnington, officially reopened the revamped shop with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, joined by volunteers, staff, supporters and shoppers.
What's changed?
The shop has been given a bright, welcoming makeover with improved displays and clearer layouts. It stocks a wide range of quality pre-loved items including fashion, homeware, books, children's goods and unique finds.
A strong start
Opening day sales hit £1,200, with a further £1,000 raised the following day. Every penny goes towards funding specialist hospice care for local people and their families.
Councillor Winnington said: "They provide vital care and support to local patients and families and rely on the generosity of the local community. It's wonderful to see people coming together for such a worthwhile cause."
Simon Dodd, Retail General Manager, added: "Investing in our shops is investing in the future of hospice care. We hope the refreshed store encourages even more people to shop with us, donate quality items and support local hospice care."
