MP pushes for Neighbourhood Health Centre in Gnosall

Stafford MP Leigh Ingham is campaigning for a new Neighbourhood Health Centre in Gnosall, which could bring GP, dental and mental health services together under one roof.

Leigh Ingham, MP for Stafford, Eccleshall and the Villages, has been working with the Integrated Care Board (ICB) to secure two new Neighbourhood Health Centres - one in Stafford town centre, and one here in Gnosall.

She recently met with Stephen Kinnock, Minister of State for Care, to press the case for the proposals.

The MP says that in conversations with local residents, she regularly hears concerns about:

  • Long waits for GP appointments
  • A shortage of NHS dentists
  • Pressure on County Hospital
  • Gaps in mental health services

A Neighbourhood Health Centre in Gnosall would aim to tackle these issues by bringing a range of services together in one place, closer to where people live. The plans align with Labour's NHS 10 Year Plan.

Leigh Ingham has pledged to keep pushing for the centres to be approved.
