Stoke-on-Trent City Council and Staffordshire County Council have launched a photography competition to mark the opening of a new Coroners Court in Stoke-on-Trent.
The competition is open to everyone, from complete beginners to seasoned professionals. Organisers are looking for inspiring images that capture the places and spirit that make Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire special.
The new court has been designed to be a calm, supportive space for families and others who need to attend at what can be a very difficult time. The winning photographs will help make the building feel welcoming and reflective, celebrating the diversity and strength of the local area.
Winning photographs will be displayed in public buildings across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent before being installed in the new Coroners Court in Stoke-on-Trent, helping create a welcoming environment for visitors.
