Anyone planning a trip into Stafford this Saturday for the monthly Farmers' and Artisans' Market will need to change their plans. The event has been called off after the Met Office issued predictions of high winds for the day.
The market regularly features a popular range of local traders selling bread, cakes, oatcakes, honey, jams, preserves, scotch eggs, pies and pastries, alongside crafts including woodwork, jewellery, plants, handicrafts, 3D printed toys and paintings.
No information has been given yet about whether the date will be rescheduled, so keep an eye on the Stafford Borough Council website for updates.
