Teen arrested after stabbing at Church Eaton house party

A 17-year-old has been arrested after a man was stabbed at a house party on Church Eaton Road in the early hours of 31 May.

Police were called at 11.25pm on Saturday 30 May, after colleagues at West Midlands Ambulance Service responded to reports of a stabbing at a property on Church Eaton Road, Church Eaton. A large group of young people had attended a house party at the address.

The victim was taken to hospital and discharged the following day.

A 17-year-old boy from south Staffordshire has been arrested on suspicion of wounding. He has been questioned and bailed with conditions while the investigation continues.

Police are still looking to speak with anyone who has not yet come forward, particularly those with CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage from the area that night.
